The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.
Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.
Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.
After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

When this book hit my email I could not stop saying shut up, I’m pretty sure my boss those I was nuttier than usual. I love Kylie Scott I fell in love with her hilarious and engaging writing while reading the Stage Dive Novels. Seriously her ability to cause me to lose hours out of my day is nothing short of diabolical.

Lydia gets a video sent to her phone of her fiance, Chris and his best friend, Paul, going at it. Feeling all kinds of wrong she flees his family house climbs a huge fence and well kicks rocks. She breaks into a neighbors home crashing through the bathroom door. She plants herself into the tub and cries her eyes out eventually falling asleep. She was woken by the owner of the house turning on her shower. Surprisingly he doesn’t see her until he actually tries to shower.

Vaughn’s band broke up while on tour with Stage Dive. He’s broke and is hoping to sell his family home to his big sister Nell. Nell owns a local bar Dive Bar. Unfortunately, her marriage imploded and she can’t afford her bar let alone their childhood home.

When Vaughn finds Lydia in his shower he takes it really well. I would not have. NOPE. They are both at a crossroads and they become super fast friends. When Lydia’s drama shows up at Vaughn’s door he helps he out, he gives her a place to stay. Of course Vaughn has his own shit he’s dealing with and they help each other and become bed buddies.

I could’ve read this book in one sitting, I didn’t because responsibilities and shit. Scott didn’t let me down at all the characters just as loveable as her other books. She made me the happiest woman in the world when a certain person came to town. Okay, I’ll spoil it, Mal makes an appearance. I swear to sweet little baby Jesus, if I could wish a character into existence it would be Mal. I don’t even have to think about it.
